Shamara project – Iraqi investment authority

After completing the legal processes and the government process, Nasr Al-Rafedain company was again selected as a shipping company in this project, and this company besides carrying out various transportation methods, was also responsible for receiving import documents, verifying Iraqi customs documents in the country of origin, receiving exemptions and clearance of cargoes at all road, air and sea borders of Iraq and unloading and loading all cargoes in the warehouses of Nasr Al-Rafedain Company and the power plant site. This large power plant was put into operation in 4 phases, and its equipment includes: 12 gas turbine units, 6 steam turbine units, generators, heat recovery boilers, etc.
